The Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited provides an opportunity for members and guests to participate in our monthly membership meetings with their enlightening presentations on conservation topics and Upper Peninsula fishing tips and techniques. Our meetings also feature informal dialogue and engaging camaraderie with those who share the same dedication to Trout Unlimited and its mission.

Our stream restoration work days and scheduled fishing trips provide members with opportunities to make new friends and build long-lasting relationships.

Our youth education programs offer members additional opportunities to meet colleagues while educating future conservation-oriented stewards of our rivers and streams through our Salmon in the Classroom.

Our calendar year activities culminate with our annual fundraising banquet, generally held the weekend before the U.P. trout opener in the Northern Michigan University Campus Grand Ballroom. Check out out Calendar for all upcoming chapter activities.
